The “Bratek” landline telephone was produced by the Radom Telephone Factory from 1983 to 1994. The design was developed by Maria Osterwa-Czekaj, Jacek Czekaj, and Stanisław Józwowicz. In 1983, the telephone received a gold medal at the Poznań International Fair. The construction allowed the telephone to be used either on a desk or mounted on a wall, and the dial could be rotated 180° without removing the casing.
